What exactly is this AHA and PHA?
5% AHA (alpha hydroxy acids): These acids, such as glycolic and lactic acid, act on the top layer of the skin and stimulate cell renewal. They gently remove dead skin cells and leave your skin radiant - for a visibly even complexion.
2% PHA (poly-hydroxy acids): PHA is the gentle sister of AHAs. It acts somewhat more slowly, binds moisture and is particularly well tolerated - making it ideal for sensitive skin.
By the way, it also contains glycerine! This moisture magnet keeps the skin supple and moisturized after cleansing. This keeps the skin feeling fresh and plump without feeling tight.
